The children's service (the last one this year!) will take place on December 14th at 10:00 am.
The theme of our service will be "The Real Joy of Christmas".
The service will be conducted primarily in English.

Muzikāls Adventes dievkalpojums

Svētdien, 7. decembrī plkst. 10:00am – muzikālais ekumeniskais dievkalpojums 

Mūsu viesis – pianiste Ilva Liepiņa no Latvijas – atskaņos skaņdarbus no klasiķiem (Jean Sibelius, J. S. Bach, F. Liszt), kā arī latviešu komponistiem (P. Barisons, J. Mediņš, J. Vītols, E. Dārziņš).

Pēc dievkalpojuma visi mīļi aicināti uz siltām svētku pusdienām ($20), kā arī uz Ziemsvētku tirdziņu un loteriju. 
Svētku programmā piedalīsies arī Indianapoles latviešu skola ar savu Ziemsvētku uzvedumu.

On Eternity Sunday—the last Sunday of the Church year—we remember our loved ones who have passed away.
Worship service will be held at the Latvian Community Center (LSC) on November 23 at 10:00 a.m.

Commemorating Latvia’s Independence Day

On November 16 at 10:00 a.m., we will gather at the Latvian Community Center (LSC) for an ecumenical worship service marking Latvia’s Independence Day.
On November 18, 1918, the Republic of Latvia was proclaimed, affirming the nation’s freedom and self-determination.
This service invites everyone to join in gratitude and prayer for our homeland and its people.
The service will be shorter than usual, without Holy Communion, so that all may participate comfortably.

Pļaujas svētki

Luterāņu baznīcā Latvijā Pļaujas svētki parasti tiek svinēti oktobra pirmajā svētdienā. 

Kopš 17. gadsimta Pļaujas svētki tiek svinēti kā vieni no ievērojamākajiem Baznīcas svētkiem. 

Mēs vēlamies šo Latviešu Baznīcas tradīciju turpināt. Tāpēc ielūdzam arī Tevi. 

Lai gan dievkalpojums būs latviešu valodā, tomēr būs iespēja sekot līdzi liturģijai arī angļu valodā. Parūpēsimies arī par to, lai sprediķis būtu saprotams angliski runājošajiem. 

Kapu svētki

Every Latvian has their own cemetery festival place in Latvia. During Cemetery Festivals, relatives gather. No matter where life has taken them, everyone comes together for this occasion. They pause to reflect, to remember what their loved ones were like, what kind of people they were—then share a meal and a drink. That is why it is called Cemetery Festivals. Vasarsvētku Dievkalpojums

The Pentecost service this year will take place on 1 June at 10:00am in the pavilion of the Latvian Community Centre.
Although the service will be in Latvian, the entire liturgy and sermon summary will be available in English.

After the service we will continue the celebration with a choir, children's performances and other surprises.
There will also be a festive feast (with grilled sausages, and the famous "Indianapolis chicken wings").

Lielās Piektdienas Dievkalpojums

The Good Friday service with communion is held as usual at the Latvian Community Centre.
